The middle school at Fei Tian consists of grades six through eight. Its goal is to provide an environment that helps each student develop integrity, self-discipline, and concern for others by addressing key areas of the maturing youth, including his or her intellectual, aesthetic, spiritual, physical, and emotional growth.
The academic program is geared toward the mastery of skills in reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. Critical thinking skills are taught along with key concepts. Students are taught to perceive, classify, and synthesize new materials, solve problems, and form conclusions in the humanities, the arts, and the sciences. The humanities curriculum makes connections to students’ daily lives, and teachers address themes in history and literature that concern students of this age, such as integrity, making difficult choices, and enduring setbacks.
Students take courses in the following areas:

- Chinese language
- Social studies
- Health, physical education, and family and consumer sciences
- Information literacy
